Jireh as I was told means God
provides everything. This was what I learned while talking to the desk clerk at
the information booth that day. And true enough, God provides everything as the
Christian owners knew ever since they built the resort. But let me remind you
that the road to Jireh is not at all that smooth and sailing. You have to go
inside farm lands and make twists and turns through trees, mud and grasses.
Often times, you go through herds of goats, carabaos, hens and other farm
animals. But you can also go through people who stand by at their lots and
herds and would be more than willing to tell you where Jireh is while greeting you
with welcoming smiles. This is the road to Jireh - the road where God provides
everything. Sometimes it’s hidden but at the end of the road is a paradise.
Thus, as the Jireh caption says, “Hidden Paradise”. Paradise is beauty that
awes and feels good to the senses – a relaxing mode where you can swim and
lounge at their “kubo”. Eating is a feast just give them time for the delivery
of food for as I say, the road to Jireh is one full of a bumpy ride. For those
seeking Jireh, here are photos that make up for relaxation and comfort in
Aringay, La Union.
