I remember looking at pictures of my childhood and how I would be running around greeneries or parks in Baguio City. As I grew up, I end up going to these parks once in a while no longer to play but to accompany children who would always bring out the child in me. Much has changed then, the once greener parks end devastated. The environment is slowly destroyed. Trees are no longer abundant. Why has this happened? No matter how they strive to revive the old Baguio, realities now are that the cool breeze we once enjoyed is slowly getting warmer. And the greeneries started to turn into “browneries”. If there ever was a word... lol!!!
I wish we could turn back the time to kind of Baguio we once knew. It might be wishful thinking now. Slowly, the playgrounds we once used to play are getting smaller and smaller for the children of this generation. What more for the future?
